Countdown Band are ‘Party Starters’ with 2 LEAD VOCALISTS (MALE AND FEMALE) that play predominantly music from the COUNTDOWN and MTV era. Tunes that you will immediately recognize and love.

We supply everything you need all-in-one for a great night. This includes our full, high-quality sound and lighting system which can be used for speeches, announcements and background music, so you have NO external hire costs beyond our quoted fee.

A premium band specialising in high energy music for festivals, private functions, corporate and themed events. The Countdown Band take pride in filling dance floors, causing laryngitis, not taking ourselves too seriously and accepting responsiblity for your sore feet!

Based in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, we are a fun cover band.

After scouring every rehearsal room in the country, a party band was formed that play predominantly cheerful/happy uplifting rock and pop music from the COUNTDOWN & MTV era.

We are not on stage just for ourselves, we are there for YOU and your audience. We understand how to deliver a quality show that entertains and engages. It’s all about great preparation, and a genuine love for what we do.

We play music that YOU instantly recognize, can sing along and dance to. Entertainment is our jam. We don’t rely on gimmicks, props, or recorded backing tracks… we just play hard with Countdown hits and connect with your audience through great song choices.

We don’t pretend to be everything to everyone, but we do promise that we are most of all FUN ! and very conscious of your audience.
